Ford Mustang ’24: $57,970+

2024 Mustang Prices Announced.

The cost for the 2024 Mustang lineup, which includes the just-debuted Dark Horse Mustang, is now visible on Ford’s website. For the lowest priced EcoBoost Fastback ‘Stang, one will have to account for $30,920 (purposefully disregarding a $1,595 shipment fee). As compared evenly to the beginning price of a 2023 Mustang EcoBoost – that is only $27,770 – this new model sees an elaborate rise of $3,150. This may be partially justified by the added automatic gearbox which has gone from initially being elective at $1,595 to standard now.

Upgrading to the EcoBoost Premium will demand an expenditure of $36,445, with the costliest four-cylinder model, the Premium Convertible, priced at $41,945. The Premium trim offers desirable extra amenities such as a bigger infotainment display and digitally customizable instrument panel.

When it comes to the V8-powered Mustang GT, rates have seen an increase of $1,755 since the 2023 model. Those interested in purchasing this model will be charged $41,495 for a standard GT; $46,015 for a GT Premium; and $51,515 for the Premium Convertible edition.

Let us now discuss the Dark Horse, the most potent Mustang version that can be accessed at launch (before a Shelby product emerges). The Dark Horse will commence at $57,970, consistent with earlier leaked information. This is a tad pricier than what the present Mustang Mach 1 ($55,570) cost which the Dark Horse is intended to substitute. At the moment, there isn’t any data on the expenses of optional features such as the available carbon fiber rims or the Dark Horse Appearance Bundle with Recaro performance seating.

We will have to wait until Ford starts its configurator to know the dollar amount for each model along with its available options. As a refresher, the EcoBoost Mustang is equipped with a 315-horsepower generating 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the the GT has a 480 hp 5.0-liter V8. The Dark Horse, on the other hand, has a higher V8 power output of 500 hp attached to a special Tremec six-speed manual which can not be found in the GT.

Come summer of 2023, the 2024 Mustang will be available for sale; nevertheless, the first model has already been procured. At the end of January, VIN 001 of the Mustang GT production series was auctioned off to the highest bidder and brought in $565,000 for a charitable cause. Be prepared to observe large mark-ups on early versions of the next gen Mustang since they are likely to stay that way in the imminent future.
