Carbon-Fiber Enhancements: $11,950
Hennessey has unveiled their latest Carbon Edition package for their Mammoth TRX pickup trucks. This kit comes with a selection of carbon fiber components which the tuning firm based in Texas says are far lighter, more strong and resilient than the stock plastic elements found on factory models. It is available on either the Mammoth 900 TRX or Mammoth 1000 TRX.
The kit, designed exclusively for 2021-2023 Mammoth models, features several components to aesthetically amplify the look of the vehicle. The package includes a carbon fiber top and lower grille, hood scoop intake, and air vents. Furthermore, it allows the installation of lighting frames, engine cover, and fender openings with an uncovered carbon pattern that shines with a matte finish, flawlessly complementing Hennessey’s Stage 1 and 2 off-road bumper upgrades as well as stock Ram fender trim.
John Hennessey, founder and CEO of the company, commented that the brand new Carbon Edition package enhances the already forceful external design of the truck with a remarkable athletic style. He further mentioned that the Mammoth TRX kit turns it into an aesthetically superior vehicle while magnifying its robust charisma.
The Hennessey Mammoth TRX rests on the top-notch Ram 1500 TRX, outfitted with amplified power output. The colossal Mammoth 1000 TRX boasts 1,012 horsepower (755 kilowatts) as well as 969 pound-feet (1,314 Newton-meters) of torque generated by its upgraded 6.2l supercharged V8 engine. As opposed to the factory Ram 1500 TRX’s 702 hp (523 KW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque, those figures pale in comparison to the might of the Hennessey Mammoth TRX.
Hennessey reported that this truck should be able to reach 60 mph (96kph) in 3.5 seconds.Hennessey has included a great number of performance add-ons to the machine, featuring an improved supercharger, unique pulleys, stainless steel headers, a higher-flow exhaust and even more. It is stated that the truck can make it up to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in an advertised 3.2 seconds. The Mammoth 900 has somewhat less power with 900 hp (671 kW) and 873 lb-ft (1,183 Nm) of torque and uses many of the same enhancers as the Mammoth 1000. Hennessey indicates that this vehicle should be able to sprint to 60 mph (96kph) in a suggested 3.5 seconds.
Hennessey offers their Carbon Edition kit at a price point of $11,950, which encompasses installation as well. The product comes with some peace of mind, too; boasting a three-year and 36,000-mile limited warranty (as is common practice with many products from Hennessey). If you want your Mammoth TRX to stand out from the crowd, then look no further than this excellent package.
