Mystery Man Captured on Tesla Dashcam Footage.
A Tesla owner recently experienced a frightening incident when they were robbed at gunpoint. However, due to the car’s built-in dashcam, commonly known as “TeslaCam,” the entire event was recorded. Despite the suspect’s escape, the victim and the police are hopeful that the public can help identify the perpetrator.
In accordance with Wham Baam Teslacam’s assertion, the operator of a Tesla Model 3 was inside her battery-operated saloon car at the hour of the theft occurrence. On January 30th, 2023 at fifteen hundred hours, she had parked close to her parent’s place in Rosemead, California when a silver coloured Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport pickup truck pulled up adjacent to the Tesla. A man wearing a mask and carrying a weapon hopped out of the pick-up and proceeded to purloin the people seated inside the Model 3.
Tesla’s incorporated dashboard camera may not record audio, but thanks to an aftermarket unit placed in the vehicle by its owner, any sound produced during the incident was still picked up. Witness the haunting event through a video recording and hear the exchange between the perpetrator and its unfortunate victims. Fortunately, no one endured serious harm in the aftermath. The occurrence is still quite frightening, however.
The robber took away pantsy $20 and a charging cord. With his gun, he whacked the window, leaving a distinguishing mark. The inhabitants understood that the dashcams would not only tape the vehicle but maybe even its number plate. So, they phoned the police and were informed that other complaints about instances of similar nature were already floating in the same locality. Unfortunately though, the subject still remains undetected.
