Mercedes-AMG Unveils Special Edition A45 S in Bold Green Hell Magno Hue

Mercedes-Benz recently released a new exclusive package for their A45 S 4Matic+ model. Going by the name ‘Limited Edition,’ this ultra-sleek hatchback boasts unique features that may not appeal to everyone’s preferences, but will certainly make it standout from its competitors.

To begin with, we turn our attention to the outer appearance, which boasts a stunning coat of AMG Green Hell Magno paint. This distinctive color, known for its use on the AMG GT R Coupe, is now available for the first time in the compact car category. As if the bold green shade wasn’t eye-catching enough, Mercedes-AMG has further enhanced the design with striking A45 S emblems on the front doors and sleek black racing stripes that run along the lower portion of the doors and extend over the hood, roof, and trunk.

The car’s 19-inch forged wheels from AMG have been coated in a sleek, matte black finish and adorned with complementary pops of yellow that are reminiscent of the vehicle’s iconic pinstripes. Additionally, the seven-spoke design is accentuated by the presence of striking black AMG brake calipers emblazoned with white AMG logos.

More exterior features include puddle lamps that shine the AMG emblem onto the pavement and a specialized AMG logo fuel cap for a unique touch.

The aerodynamics package adds a fixed rear spoiler, revised front apron and deeper side skirtsThe Exclusive Edition comes with the AMG Night Package, second edition of the Night Package and AMG Aerodynamics Package as standard features. These upgrades offer a sleek black finish to the front splitter, mirror covers and side panels. The Night Package II expands on this by including black accents on exterior badges, grille struts and other small elements. Additionally, the aerodynamics package includes a fixed rear spoiler, refreshed front apron and extended side sills.

The A45 S is now equipped with a stable AMG rear spoiler and other enhanced aerodynamic features, adding not only visual appeal but also enhancing its driving experience. As stated by Mercedes, these upgrades not only improve high-speed performance, but also increase contact pressure for improved stability.

Numerous modifications can be observed within the interior. The AMG performance seats have been adorned with Black Artico man-made leather and durable microfiber material. Delicate accents of yellow stitching have been incorporated into the seats, providing a vibrant splash of color. Additionally, the same shade has been employed to embroider the number 45 S onto the headrests, lending a subtle touch of flair.

The AMG performance steering wheel has been subject to similar modifications as the seats. Enhancing the overall aesthetic of the interior are aluminum trim inlays adorned with the renowned AMG design and highlighted by yellow AMG lettering, providing a touch of sportiness and luxury. Even the floor mats boast ’45 S’ lettering and eye-catching yellow stitching.

Unfortunately, the A45 S model is not available for purchase in the United States. The A-Class was officially phased out at the beginning of 2022, leaving only the CLA-Class, GLA-Class, and GLB-Class as the remaining compact options from the brand. Although the CLA45 is still offered in the US market, it is unlikely to receive the exclusive Limited Edition features.

The cost for the Limited Edition bundle is €14,280 (around $15,300), resulting in a final sticker price of €87,792 ($94,000) for the A45 S 4Matic+. This may seem like a steep amount for a compact high-performance car, however, this powerful Mercedes boasts an impressive 416 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds.

The prestigious manufacturer AMG has a fondness for creating unique and one-of-a-kind editions, as clearly demonstrated by their latest release, the SL 63 Big Sur. This special edition was launched alongside the highly anticipated introduction of the Manufaktur program to the American market, specifically designed for the AMG SL line.
