Retail Price: $85,000+
Close to a twelvemonth ago, Mercedes showcased the C43 and now, happily, the AMG Lite version of the modern C-Class presented its value tag in the US. The Premium trim comes at a cost of $59,900 although selecting the more high-end Pinnacle with additional stock equipment increases the fee up to $62,700 both before adding the $1,150 shipping charge. This sports sedan furnished with F1-derivation can be located in car dealerships throughout the US.
The C43 is available only in a 4Matic set-up compared to its competition BMW which offers the M340i in both rear wheel and four wheel drive forms. The M340i with rear wheel drive retails for $56,400 while with xDrive comes in at $58,400-that is $1,500 more pricey than the AMG C43. With regard to Audi S4, it is sold just with Quattro technology and has a sticker price of $52,800. In addition, the CT4-V can be purchased for $46,595 and the upgraded CT4-V Blackwing costs $60,995.
Much like its two German adversaries, the C43 is available in the United States only as a sedan. Conversely, European customers have access to an estate variant that competes with BMW’s M340i/M340d Touring and Audi’s S4 Avant. To guarantee you get value for your money, Mercedes-AMG have included rear axle steering and adaptive LED headlights as standard. The Premium trim ($61,050 including fees) also encompasses heating for the front seats, a surround-view camera, keyless go paired with handsfree entry, and 64-color ambient lighting plus illuminated door thresholds.
Purchasing the Pinnacle trim ($63,850 including charges) gives access to features such as a heads-up display, inductive phone charging, improved indoor illumination and an exclusive Burmester 3D Surround Sound System. Mercedes has also incorporated navigation with augmented reality technology.
The setup of the US-bound Mercedes-AMG C43 Pinnacle is already open and functioning. Supercharging this model to the limit would put it at an exorbitant total price of almost $85,000, which includes a comprehensive range of installed features. Optional lavish choices incorporate Manufaktur Selenite Grey Magno matte paint for a whopping $3,250, AMG Performance Seat Package Advanced for $3,250, AMG Performance Studio Package for $2,250, 20-inch AMG wheels for $1,650, and a panoramic roof for a thousand bucks.
