2024 Honda Passport Black Edition: Price Unveiled

Replacement Elite Trim Costs More

Honda has declared up-to-date versions for its Passport Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) during 2024’s model year and, as predicted, a moderate bump in cost.

Two traditional tiered determinations were kept back. The EX-L and TrailSport are $900 pricier than the year prior, while the Black Edition that has taken the slot of the Elite trim is $1,410 more than it was.

The 2024 dollar signs kick off at $41,900 (EX-L), $44,500 (TrailSport), and a top of the line $47,970 (Black Edition), with an additional $1,375 fee to cover the port charges.

Owing to being Hondas, there are scarcely any additional aspects and options that raise the cost extensively more than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. As far as standard apparatus is concerned, Honda seems to be abnormally benevolent.

Come 2024, not much has shifted – which is not something to complain about. The Passport will be still running strong with its respected 3.5-liter V6 engine, providing 280HP and 262 lb-ft of torque efficiency. Linked to a 9-speed automatic transmission, the combo offers 21 mpg fuel efficiency as well as an added capacity for towing up to 5,000 pounds. Additionally, AWD versions are now the only available option since barring FWD models was done in 2022.

Significant transformations are bestowed on the model through the TrailSport and all-new Black Edition trims. The TrailSport has been fitted with robust enhancements to give it more of an off-road character, and this includes a modified suspension that allows better mobility off-road whilst giving a smoother ride. For additional gripping capacity amid rough terrain, General Grabber A/T Sport tires come provided as standard.

The model now sports the exclusive, misty Sky Blue paint coating, unique emblems, as well as orange highlights on its interior and exterior. We had the chance to take it for a spin before and we identified it was an adequate passenger transporter, although that’s all it had to offer. Let’s hope these limited updates will upgrade its off-road performance to a reasonable level.

The pinnacle of luxury, the Black Edition, is an upper-class trim variant that exhibits a more elegant vibe. This edition offers four choices in color: Crystal Black Pearl, Sonic Gray Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, and Radiant Red Metallic II and employs black strips with Black Edition labeling on the external parts, along with black 20-inch wheels. Internally, you will find yourself swaddled in comfort, as this vehicle includes luxurious fitting such as ventilated first row seats, a hi-fi audio system, and heated rear seat. Adding to the charm are red stitch accents throughout the cabin.

Honda is looking forward to the new year that includes some fresh trim updates. Hopefully alluring buyers, the Passport should be available in dealerships within the coming month.
