2024 Hyundai Sonata AWD at $29K.

Starting at $27,500: SEL Model Launches Series

Hyundai has uncovered the pricing for their newly spruced up 2024 Hyundai Sonata. This version brings some major updates, featuring a facelifted exterior, renewed interior, and modern technology. As usual, the price of the Hyundai Sonata has been altered; but the good news is the SEL trim has lowered in cost.

Due to the elimination of the entry-level SE model, the lowest price point for the MY2024 Hyundai Sonata is now the $27,500 SEL. This edition offers a GDI four-cylinder engine that generates 191 horsepower and comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Providing a more accessible choice, this model is priced at $475 less than the 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL.

This vehicle sports dual LED projector headlamps, along with LED tail lamps, and 17-inch wheels. Additionally, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, as well as a sizeable 12.3-inch audio display (compatible with both CarPlay and Android Auto) are all included. For safety measures, nine air bags are on board while multiple driver assists are also integrated.

The chief reward for 2024 is that an SEL with AWD can now be purchased for the price of a mere $29,000. Exclusions, such as any related to transportation, must not be included in this figure.

The mid-spec SEL Comfort issues the same 2.5-liter powertrain as the standard SEL but offers extra luxury amenities and convenience tools. This is likely a substitute for the now obsolete SEL Plus, absent in MY2024. Classified as a single model, it comes with a cost of $30,550, comprised of a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch rims, wireless device loading, a 12.3-inch navigation display featuring Hyundai’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) OS, and several other nice add-ons.

For those who prefer more of a sporting flair, they may choose the N Line trim. It features an impressive turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, capable of generating 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Its power is distributed to the front tires through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The N Line variants of the Hyundai Sonata are receiving a refreshed aesthetic, quad exhaust outlets coupled with 19-inch rims and N sport seats with microfiber accents. The interior also gets an additional touch ambient lighting, a 12-speaker Bose audio system and aluminum pedals. This athletic sedan is slightly pricier at $34,950 (compared to 2022) yet should still be a wise buy for drivers hankering for a budget-friendly combination of performance and luxury.

If you are looking for maximum efficiency, the Sonata Hybrid is the prime option. The electrical Sonata comes with two models – SEL and Limited – both of which feature a 2.0-L motor generator giving a combined horsepower rate of 192. The transmission system is a 6-speed automatic in the hybrid versions.

The SEL model of the product is offered for a price of $30,800, while the Limited variation retails for the significantly higher amount of $37,200. Potentially making it the total costliest in the array, it comes fully-equipped with nice features such as ventilated front seats, a heavily heated steering wheel, a dashboard draped in leatherette, and an electrically-powered trunk-opening option; just to enumerate a few. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the Hybrid Limited represents an increase of $1,200 over its earlier worth.

The 2024 Hyundai Sonata is attractively priced, and it should generate a lot of interest. Nevertheless, it won’t be the only choice available as the new Camry just appeared and the most recent Accord hit the market only one year ago.
