They specifically stated, “We recently decided to launch an additional electric entry-level model below the Audi Q4 e-tron as well.” While there is no confirmation that this model would be a direct replacement for the Audi A3, Audi has previously mentioned an A-segment car and Duesmann made it clear that the brand will have an electric vehicle in each core segment by 2027.
It appears that both the current A3 and its electric equivalent will be attainable concurrently, reflecting a transitioning integration between them. In the long run however, Audi intends to exclusively offer electric models, meaning that the A3 as we know it might no longer be offered.
