Mansory’s Subdued Mercedes-AMG SL63 Tune

Mansory Forgoes Loud Colors for an Unusual Car Build

You all are probably cognizant of Mansory for its bold renderings of cars. Not just any vehicles, but pricey ones which a few people would rather maintain untouched. However, if somebody wishes to stand out – either with exorbitantly designed body kits or flamboyant colors – they can rely on Mansory to take it to the next level and manifest something unusual.

However, this modified Mercedes-AMG SL63 cannot be categorized as such. At first look, the Mansory version of the open-air AMG SL has a surprisingly tame outward appearance and could be mistaken for an attractive improvement.

At first glance, it’s clear that Mansory didn’t hold back when it came to giving the AMG SL a wild makeover. Up front, the bumper has been revamped with copper-ish accents, and the three-pointed star has been replaced with Mansory’s own roundel. The air vents are surrounded by carbon fiber elements, and the same material has been used for the front bumper spoiler and side mirror housing.

The tale remains the same in the back. Mansory has opted to revamp the spoiler, diffuser, and multiple bumper components – all with a carbon-fiber finish accompanied by copper highlights. To round off the exterior design, they have declared wheels measuring 22-inches to be available in several varieties. Delving inside, we can see that the interiors of the Mercedes-AMG SL63 were sprayed with white and fitted with seatbelts.

Mansory’s creations are not just limited to the external and internal elements of the cabriolet. Despite a lack of much detail in the statement issued by the renowned German customizers, it does note that two performance grades will be on offer – P720 and P850.

Therefore, Mansory have modified the AMG SL63, surpassing its conventional specification with a power output of under both 720 and 850 PS. In its initial set up, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine of the AMG SL63 yields 577 hp as well as 590 lb-ft of torque, which has earned praise from experts. According to findings, the revised version can now go from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) within 3.2 seconds and achieve a peak speed of 206 mph (332 km/h).

Mansory hasn’t revealed the expense of this particular project; considering the reputation of the brand, it won’t be inexpensive in any way.
