Audi & BMW: New EV Models Previewed
Motor1 posts spy shots of upcoming models frequently, and at times even more. If you’re looking to remain up-to-date on what is yet to come, have a look through this compilation of all the glimpses of prototypes from the past seven days.
Audi are set to fully renew the S3 and RS3 by introducing completely electric models. The front features newly updated headlights bookending a modernised grille, adorned with a modified mesh design. There is no visible transformation to the bodywork along the side profile. Meanwhile, in the rear, the graphics have been redesigned in comparison to the existing ones. No changes have emerged yet as to what engine configurations may be included, though they may well deliver an increment in horsepower beyond the current models.
Here is a snippet of the newly revised text that has been re-written, featuring different wording and grammar: Keeping to their recent pattern, Audi is introducing the A5 Avant, barely-camouflaged now, in order to replace the A4 as their combustion-run vehicle. This new Avant displays a redesigned grille of a hexagonal shape with an insignia adorning the apex of the center. The rear window also boasts a sharply arched design, with two rectangular exhaust pipes emerging from the bumper. We anticipate a full unveiling of this model by 2024, and its subsequent release later that year.
BMW is gearing up for the Neue Klasse range of electric vehicles, headlined by this amazing crossover. Approximating the size of the X3, its design diverges notably from what we have come to expect. We can spot a glossy protrusion underneath the hood, while streamlined flush handles covertly adorn its sides. Seeing that electric cars are possibly making up more than half of their sales by the end of the following decade, it has never been clearer that BMW are out to pave the way ahead.
