The Perfect Color Combination: Green and Bronze
The latest addition to the Ford family, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E electric crossover, may not sit well with die-hard enthusiasts, but it is slowly winning over the majority. And with the introduction of the brand new Bronze Appearance Package, we might even dare to say that we are starting to appreciate this vehicle. Only offered on the GT variant, this package lives up to its name by adding a stunning golden brown hue to the exterior.
The 2024 version of the Mustang Mach-E can potentially receive an enhanced performance, resulting in it being the fastest model to date when accelerating from 0-60 mph (excluding the one-of-a-kind Mach-E 1400). Currently, the GT Performance Edition takes the title with a time of 3.5 seconds. Further information will be released in the future, but we anticipate the electric vehicle will reduce its time by more than a tenth with this upgrade.
For the time being, we have a decent understanding of the fresh look bundle, which includes the identification of the particular shade used on the 20-inch rims, the lower door emblems, and the rear GT emblem as Sinister Bronze. This color is also present on the simulated front grille.
The bundle is solely obtainable in one of the trio hues: Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, and the fresh Eruption Green tone on display here. This vibrant coat is magnificent and transforms its look according to the lighting conditions, however, Ford has not specified if it will be attainable on lower grades.
Luckily, if you decide to invest in a GT version, there are added perks for the upcoming model year.
According to the latest updates, the latest model will come with a range of new standard features. These include MagneRide adaptive damping, as well as “performance-focused components”, such as 385-millimeter front rotors equipped with striking red Brembo calipers. Additionally, Ford has also included Ford Performance front seats, which boast 10-way power adjustment for the driver. While there is not much information available about the interior of the car, it is speculated that it will feature the same luxurious Black Onyx upholstery found in the combustion-powered Mustang GT when opting for this package. However, it should be noted that the highly anticipated Eruption Green color, which is currently available on other Ford models such as the Bronco and the previous Mustang, unfortunately, will not be offered on the S650 at this time.
The pricing and release date for the upcoming EV enhancement package will be announced in the coming weeks, with orders set to begin during the winter season. The Mustang Mach-E GT AWD equipped with the Extended Range and Bronze Appearance Package (quite a long name) is expected to have a starting price of $60,990. It is likely that the performance upgrade mentioned earlier will incur an extra charge.
