Acura’s Integra Type S is set to boast a powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, capable of generating 310 pound-feet of torque. To ensure seamless performance, the Type S will be equipped with a short-throw six-speed manual transmission. According to Acura, the combination of this engine and gearbox will create a “class-leading power-to-weight ratio.”
The Type S develops an amount of power which is considerably more than what the usual Integra has to offer, putting forward its 200 hp from the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder. What’s more, it even can make more than the Honda Civic Type R, having a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine providing 310 horses – a motor that is possibly used in the Acura, as well.
