New Trucks in Lakeshore Blue and Slate Gray Metallic
The most recent iteration of the Chevrolet Silverado had its mid-cycle facelift for the 2022 year model. To make the vehicle more up to date, Chevy enhanced its tech inside and launched the off-road ZR2 variation. For the 2024 rendition of the automobile, any changes that were made were much more gentle, making minor corrections throughout the whole trim lineup.
For the upcoming year, Chevrolet introduces a new powertrain option for the ZR2 – a 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax turbodiesel engine. It churns out 305 horsepower and an impressive 495 pound-feet of torque, providing an appealing option to the trim’s typical 420-hp 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 460 lb-ft of torque.
The Duramax of the ZR2 will not be the only engine modification in the imminent Silverado for 2024; though, the other is far less electrifying. Chevy hails their high-performance 2.7L four-cylinder the “TurboMax” motor. This powertrain in the truck produces 310 hp and 420 lb-ft torque. The organization has not mentioned any revisions about the 5.3L V8, cranking out 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque as usual.
Chevy is decided to introduce two fresh exterior finishes in the 2024 Silverado – Slate Gray Metallic and Lakeshore Blue Metallic. The automobile has made a backseat seatbelt indicator available, and the 6.2-liter V8 engine is equipped with an active dual exhaust coupled with Sport setting.
For the 2024 model year, the Midnight Edition is now offered on the High Country trim which has been equipped with innovative black power-retractable assist steps and LED lighting. Customers may also opt for the High Country model in order to gain access to adaptive cruise control. Additionally, the Blackout Appearance Package is attainable for Custom, Custom Trail Boss, RST, LT Trail Boss, along with ZR2 versions.
The company has introduced Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability for the WT version of their product, with enhanced front and rear park aid included in both Safety Package options. As part of its mid-cycle update, aesthetics to the Silverado’s exterior design have been revised, centering the endeavours on these smaller alterations.
Chevy has yet to reveal the cost of the 2024 Silverado. Beginning at $38,195 (including a $1,895 destination fee), the 2023 model already had a notable price tag. With tendencies of automobile value continuously skyrocketing, it stands to reason that next year’s MSRP may incline as well. Hopefully, more information about this current year’s refreshed version will be revealed before customers can get their hands on it at dealerships.
