2024 Jeep Gladiator Begins Production, Put on Assembly Line at Last!

Freshly Updated Truck Set to Arrive at Dealerships Soon

Jeep has recently revealed that the 2024 edition of their Gladiator truck has officially entered production. The manufacturing process is taking place at Stellantis’ Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio, alongside its fellow model, the Wrangler. This year’s Gladiator has undergone significant revisions to maintain a modern and updated appearance and performance.

According to Bill Peffer, the head of Jeep North America, “More than 5,400 UAW-represented employees at the Toledo Assembly Complex bring their experience, commitment, and passion to the job every day to assemble the new 2024 Jeep Gladiator for our customers around the world.” This statement highlights the hard work and dedication of the employees at the Toledo Assembly Complex in producing the 2024 Jeep Gladiator for global customers.

The main Stellantis company encountered significant stress from the UAW in 2023, as the labor union pushed for higher salaries and benefits for its workers. In the end, the car manufacturer conceded to a substantial overall increase of over 33%.

Jeep implemented several notable updates for the 2024 model year. While not necessarily the most thrilling, the improved safety features can be considered the most critical. The entire lineup now includes first- and second-row side curtain airbags, along with pre-tensioners and load limiters for the outboard seatbelts in the second row. Additionally, all trims except for the Sport now come equipped with both forward collision warning and advanced cruise control.

The latest changes also encompass updated wheel patterns, a modified seven-slot grille, and an upgraded 12.3-inch touch display equipped with Uconnect 5 system. This improved version not only delivers more efficient performance, but it also introduces new functionalities like easily accessible map updates, Jeep Adventure Guides, and the ability to connect two mobile devices via Bluetooth.

Jeep has recently unveiled the latest additions to their Gladiator lineup, which includes the new and improved Mojave X and Rubicon X models. In a move towards affordability, the base price of these trims has been reduced to below $40k. The renowned car company’s decision to introduce these upgraded trims to their already successful Gladiator range is bound to excite off-roading enthusiasts. The Mojave X and Rubicon X boast enhanced capabilities, making them even more formidable on tough terrain. Furthermore, Jeep’s strategic pricing adjustment is a welcomed change for those seeking quality performance at a reasonable cost. With the introduction of these new trims and the reduction in base pricing, the Gladiator range is now more accessible to a wider audience. Overall, this move by Jeep showcases their commitment to continuously improve their products and cater to the needs of their customers. So gear up and get ready to experience the ultimate off-roading adventure with the new and affordable Mojave X and Rubicon X models from Jeep.

The sole engine alternative available for the year 2024 will be the 3.6-liter V6 engine, which will come paired with a six-speed manual transmission as its standard option. An automatic transmission can also be selected. However, those who highly value fuel efficiency may find consolation in knowing that the EcoDiesel has been terminated for 2024. They won’t be kept waiting for too long, as the eagerly awaited Gladiator 4xe hybrid is set to make an entrance.

Consumers who have purchased the newest Gladiator model will be delighted to discover that they have the option to add officially sanctioned packages from American Expedition Vehicles. These packages offer a variety of upgrades designed to improve the truck’s performance off-road, such as a two-inch lift on the suspension and 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, among other additions.

Although this may not be enough to persuade you to officially commit, it is important to mention that there are numerous opportunities to save on MY2023 Gladiators if you’re willing to put in the effort and do some research.

The 2024 Gladiators are currently in production and we anticipate the arrival of the new model in dealerships very soon.
