2024 Jeep Gladiator’s Price Dips Under $40k, Saving You a Bundle!

Cheaper Models Despite Improvements: A Surprising Result!

The cost for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator has been revealed, providing potential buyers with an estimate of their expenses upon the truck’s arrival at dealerships.

In an amusing twist, the starting price for the 2024 Jeep Gladiator has been dropped to $39,790 for the base Sport model, a significant decrease of $1,725 compared to previous years, according to Car and Driver. All other trim levels for the Jeep Gladiator are priced above $40,000, with the Sport S coming in at $43,290.

For those seeking a higher level of extravagance, the 2024 Rubicon and Mojave versions come with a price tag of $54,890, an increase of $1,750 compared to the MY2023 models. At the peak of the lineup are the fresh faces of the Rubicon X and Mojave X, unveiled in the latest revamp. These premium models will cost buyers $64,890. While this may seem like a hefty amount, the elevated pricing of the top-of-the-line 2024 Gladiator is supported by its impressive standard features and enhancements.

Rubicon X and Mojave X models come with added driver assistance features, including cross-path detection, blind-spot assist, and rear parking assistance. The package also includes power-adjustable leather seats, but the real selling point for customers is the variety of off-road enhancements. These include durable Dana 44 axles at both the front and rear, heavy-duty 33-inch all-terrain tires, a full-time transfer case, and sturdy steel bumpers. In addition, the Mojave X variant boasts Fox 2.5-inch bypass shocks and front hydraulic jounce bumpers.

It should be taken into consideration that the cost of the 2023 Jeep Gladiator may be reduced for certain variants, while the entire 2024 lineup boasts improved features. Along with a revamped 12.3-inch media display, all Gladiators now come equipped with significant safety enhancements, such as front and rear side airbags, reinforced body structure, and advanced seatbelts with load limiters and pre-tensioners.

Enhanced cruise control and pre-collision alert have been implemented as the new standard features for all models, with the exception of the Sport trim level.

Customers can also buy Upcountry and Upcountry+ packages from American Expedition Vehicles. The standard bundle includes 35-inch all-terrain tires and a two-inch suspension lift.

The Gladiator can only be equipped with the well-known 3.6-liter V6 engine, delivering a robust 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. While a six-speed manual transmission comes standard, customers can also opt for an automatic one. The diesel option has been discontinued, but Jeep has confirmed plans for a hybrid 4xe version in the future. It is anticipated that this particular model will come at a higher cost compared to the base V6.

It is important to mention that the pricing for the 2024 Wrangler has been announced, with the initial cost of the Sport two-door starting at $31,995. The price gradually increases to a staggering $92,140 for the Rubicon 392, which may be discontinued at the end of the current model year.
