2024 Vantage: F1 Design Meets Hooliganism

Marek Reichman: 2024 Vantage, Total Hooligan!

The much-anticipated arrival of the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is just around the corner, and Autocar is reporting that it will be a “completely different” sports car. Aston Martin’s chief creative officer, Marek Reichman, has said that the new Vantage will be designed to look like a “complete hooligan” in order to give it a more sporty appearance. Additionally, the interior will be remodeled in a manner similar to the Aston Martin DB12.

Recent spy shots of the soon-to-be-released vehicle taken at the Nurburgring display a clearly modified headlight housing boasting a more rounded ending, as well as an altered grille with a higher and somewhat reduced appearance. Mr. Reichman uncovered that Aston Martin is using their Formula 1 equals’ capacity to design the luxury car.

Aston Martin is in the process of achieving distinctiveness for its sports car. With particular attention, the company wishes to set apart the Vantage from the DB12 by changing its performance, as well as adapting the riding experience resemblant to that of the DBX.

“The next Vantage will be a marked departure from the DB12 and DBX,” said Reichman. “It has to be completely different. The replacement for the DBS will then be ‘completely different to both of them.'”

When it comes to the powertrain, the 4.0-liter M177 twin-turbocharged V8 from Mercedes-AMG is expected to return. This engine currently offers 503 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque, but a higher output is expected for the new Vantage. Alex Long, the product and market strategy director, has refuted the notion of an AMG six-cylinder due to the “sound being so important” for the model.

As Aston bids a fond adieu to its V12-fueled Vantage, a final edition indicating that the privelegde of its continued use for the upcoming 2024 model has been cancelled. Nevertheless, the frame structure from the present V12 classification could be carried over into the all-new Vantage.

In the near future, it’s expected that Aston Martin will reveal the newest edition of their Vantage series: the 2024 version. Not long from now, we’ll be privy to the most interesting facts as they pertain to this car.
