$370k Ford Mustang V8: Restomodded & Ace

Classic Looks, Modern Luxuries & Coyote V8 – Loved by All!

Velocity Modern Classics (VMC) has unveiled its freshest restomod endeavor based on a timeless Ford Mustang fastback, and it is truly astonishing. With a great emphasis placed on the car’s exterior, VMC has created something that not only looks captivating but also performs splendidly.

The professionals from Florida have brought back this magnificent 1967/1968 Mustang to its previous grandeur. Even though the design is left untouched, the situation turns out to be selfsame with the powertrain and skeletal system. VMC has decided that rather than handing it over a modern electric drivetrain, they settle for the 5.0-liter Coyote V8, identical to the S550 Mustang GT.

The Fastback now boasts an impressive 460 horsepowers and 420 pound-feet of torque, sponsored to the rear tires by a 10-speed automated or, as recommended, a 6-velocity manual transmission. To advance the sound of its engine, tailored exhaust manifold headers have been added on along with stainless-steel pipes and Borla muffs.

The potent metrics and the Mustang’s existing frame and suspension didn’t mix well. In an effort to create greater control and agility, VMC’s fastback is now supported by a newly commissioned Mustang SPEC chassis from Roadster Shop, complete with new rack-and-pinion powered steering.

You’ll discover the all-new SPEC standalone front suspension, with front anti-roll bars. The four-link rear suspension should keep the Mustang’s attractive posterior firmly set down, while flexible Fox shock absorbers (front and rear) further heighten maneuverability.

Concluding the handling upgrades are Baer’s four-piston calipers and a Bosch Electric iBooster. The 17-inch aluminum wheels are outfitted with 255/45 ZR 17 Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires that look absolutely vintage.

Maintaining the initial beauty of the fastback, VMC has neglected to change its body, aside from updating the paint job. Produced with BASF Glasurit paint, the liquid-like coating appears in a sharp and stylish dark blue. Furthermore, the optional racing stripes can be seen, which uplift the look just slightly yet enough to make an inspiring difference.

A number of exterior modifications have a utilitarian intent. The ventilated hood, in particular, aids with thermally handling the engine. Chrome bumpers and detailing stylishly coordinate with the darker colored paint scheme, yet will equally look remarkable with any color. As for a more contemporary style, VMC has installed luminescent headlights and taillights. Furthermore, Ringbrothers experts have utterly replaced the hood hinges, glass, and gaskets.

Enter, and you’ll discover the cabin loaded with plush materials. The front bucket chairs are complimented by a back seat, which can be used for additional cargo space or briefer excursions. Natural leather is, of course, ranked as “standard,” but purchasers have the option to upgrade to a superior hide option and can even customize heated and ventilated seating. The ceiling lining is decked in smooth Alcantara.

Incorporating air-conditioning and Dynamat soundproofing without sacrificing any classic appeal, VMC incorporated USB ports discreetly behind cup holders. Viewing the impeccable wood steering wheel, one might see the Dakota Digital gauges in just a glance. To finish off the interior with that extra pizzaz, VMC also offers billets for both external and internal aspects alongside its brushed metal accents.

Do you hope to access excessive performance out of your VMC Mustang Fastback? Consider the Street Series upgrade which encompasses a carbon fiber driveshaft, eighteen-inch Forgeline rims, and Fox coilovers with two-way adjustability. This particular design even features racing stripes as standard atop numerous exterior and interior tweaks.

Fancy something special? The retail price tag for the regular model will cost you $299,900, with the Street Series having an even more hefty price tag of $369,900. In the event that may be somewhat too costly for your budget, then the company’s customized F-100 pickup truck, at $279,900, may have a slightly more appetising cost. Despite its considerable worth, this Mustang will surely catch the eye of everyone everywhere it goes – giving you a unique automobile of your own.
