Lamborghini Celebrates 60 Years with Dedication Video

For sixty years, the Raging Bull has been led by innovator Ferruccio Lamborghini’s vision, with the goal of rivaling Ferrari. Achieving this would not have been possible without the dedicated labors of the staff at the plant assembling Lamborghini vehicles component by component.

To mark the momentous 60th-anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini has released a short video expressing gratitude to those “who build everything that is Automobili Lamborghini on a daily basis.” The video is dedicated to them, with the Italian supercar manufacturer declaring “Lamborghini is everyone who has shaped it.”

Sixty years of Automobili Lamborghini – The future began in 1963

The inaugural undertaking at the factory was to build the 350 GTV; this particular V12 supercar will always be remembered for being the originator of Lamborghini. Its conception spawned the Miura 3 years later, a vehicle which embodied how supercars should be constructed during its era.

In 1974, Automobili Lamborghini released one of their most renowned models to date: the Countach. This model has endured as an iconic design even to this day. 50 years on from its original emergence, the company chose to reinstate the nameplate in 2021 with a hybrid V12 supercar.

Today, the individuals toiling away at the factory are adjusting to the industry’s movement towards electrification; the Aventador and Huracan are leaving the production line, supplanted by brand-new electrified models. Lamborghini’s selection of electric cars will be headed by the Revuelto, the label’s first hybrid backed up by a V12 plug-in powertrain accompanied with three motors.

Lamborghini has their sights set on a busy upcoming year as they expand their involvement in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with the help of Iron Lynx. Representing them at the wheel will be Russian racer Daniil Kyvat, whose impressive showings will no doubt bring to light Lamborghini’s latest technical achievements.

An array of programs have been scheduled, which leads to the belief that Lamborghini’s subsequent 10-year period should be an enthralling span of time.
