Elon Musk: The Tesla Cybertruck Production Line Ready – Feels Like The Future

CEO Shares New Development on Twitter

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk proclaimed in a recent tweet that he traipsed the Cybertruck production line in Texas for hours. This can be interpreted as meaning there is an existent assembly line within the vicinity, all ready to construct the much-anticipated, electric pick-up truck.

Musk proclaimed that it’s “going to be extraordinary” and he had an impression that it was the future, though he wouldn’t go into specifics. It’s reasonable to assume that a lot of preparation is evidencing its readiness to bring the Cybertruck – exposed back in 2019 – out of production, notwithstanding the various postponements and difficulties it has encountered so far.

It isn’t too astonishing that Tesla will begin limited production of the long-awaited truck this summer given that their commander has already indicated that there would be an increase towards 2024. However, it’s comforting to see the US EV conglomerate striving hard to refrain from any other postponement which might result in dissatisfaction for dedicated booking owners.

At the get-go of January this year, Tesla’s chief designer Franz von Holzhausen announced that the progress on their future-forward pickup truck was completed “from a design perspective”. He further commented that the organization didn’t possess a “pencils down” approach to vehicle design – implying they could modify the design and make alterations whenever essential. Such changes are not atypical, seeing how the Model S, whose debut was in 2012, has undergone numerous updates over the years.

Recently, signs have been burgeoning to suggest that the Fremont-based vehicle manufacturer is progressing expeditiously through each stage needed to start assembling the Cybertruck. There are not one but two gigantic 9,000-ton Giga Presses bound for Giga Texas factory, the recruiting drive is intensifying, and vehicles identical to the production version of the Cybertruck are out and about being evaluated – an ordinary practice for legacy and upstart companies alike.

The highly anticipated Tesla Cybertruck is creating quite a stir, and much about it remains to be seen. That being said, reports suggest the innovative electric pickup could feature an adaptive air suspension synchronized with Hardware 4.0, rear-wheel steering and all-wheel drive capability.
