Introducing the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona: The First-Ever Electric Muscle Car

Introducing the New Dodge Charger: Now Offering Battery EV or Hurricane-6 Engine Options!

After much anticipation, Dodge has finally entered the realm of electric muscle cars. The Stellantis-owned brand had been teasing its intentions for an electric vehicle with the introduction of the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept. However, the concept has now come to life and the Dodge Charger Daytona stands as the only fully electric muscle car in the world, at least for the time being.

Dodge is proudly introducing the brand-new Charger as their inaugural hybrid muscle car. Set to hit the market in 2024, the Charger will not only be available as a completely electric vehicle (known as the Charger Daytona), but also as a traditionally powered option (called the Charger SIXPACK) with its impressive 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane engines. Despite both models being top contenders, the Charger Daytonas hold a notable edge in power, equalling the impressive performance levels of the Charger Hellcat Redeye.

The upcoming lineup of Dodge Chargers will consist solely of electric models, with the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack and 2024 Charger Daytona R/T being the main attractions. These two vehicles will be offered in both a two-door coupe and a four-door body style, all built upon Stellantis’ latest STLA Large platform. The brand’s iconic SIXPACK H.O. model will make its debut as a two-door, while the SIXPACK S.O. will be offered as a four-door option.
