Preview 2024 LEGO Speed Champions Sets
Lego has provided a glimpse of the vehicles ready for their Speed Champions series in 2021. Automotive obsessed Lego lovers will have a variety of assembled versions of the Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Audi S1 e-tron Quattro, and two BMW M racing automobiles to choose from.
The Ford Mustang Dark Horse Lego Speed Champions set contains a collection of 344 pieces honoring the track-ready edition of the S650 era classic American muscle car. Featuring a 5.0-liter V8 Coyote powertrain, this production model churns out an impressive 500 horsepower – 20 greater than the Mustang GT.
The distinctive complexion and far-reaching aero packages reinforce the Audi S1 e-tron Quattro Lego Speed Champions. Comprised of 274 pieces, this model takes inspiration from the ’80s Sport Quattro S1 rally emblem. Having a Minifigure of the late Ken Block would have been ideal, especially considering that the all-electric Audi S1 Hoonitron was developed solely for championship racing idol.
The EV contestant had navigated the full circumference when Audi Sport presented the keys to Lia Block, offspring of Ken Block, carrying on her dad’s tradition and establishing an integrity for herself in motor sports.
In regards to the two BMW race cars, Lego is set to deliver toy replicas of the M Hybrid V8 and M4 GT3 in a single kit that has 676 pieces. Partaking in the WEC championship next season, the M Hybrid V8 will try to outperform models such as the Ferrari 499 and Toyota GR010 Hybrid in the renowned 24 Hours of Le Mans event.
According to the United States site for Lego, the recently added models will not be until March 1 of 2024. The Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Audi S1 e-tron Quattro can be procured at a price of $26.99 while the duo of BMW units are going to be put up for sale for $44.99.
The fresh Lego vehicles will add to the collection of the Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R from 2 Fast 2 Furious, the McLaren Solus GT, and Pagani Utopia in the Lego Speed Champions line-up.
