Lexus Transforms Into Gaming Racer

2023 Esports Awards Show unveils gaming vehicle in Vegas.

Lexus is capitalizing on the three-row design of its initial car-based crossover SUV, the TX, by transforming it into a gaming haven. The Japanese automaker collaborated with Razer to make this extraordinary concept a reality.

Dubbed the Razer Lexus TX, the groundbreaking gaming car was unveiled at the grand 2023 Esports Awards Show in Las Vegas. Distinctive features include a customized Lexus logo and gleaming Razer green LEDs along the grille, side mirrors, roof runners, rear windows, and beneath the automobile’s shell.

Within, the second and third rows have been revamped with four Razer Iskur gaming chairs, plus displays and compatible peripherals, transforming the TX into an optimal competitive gaming automobile.

The future of gaming technology will soon be presented through the Razer Lexus TX, to be featured in a three-part video series. The initial installment, as seen here, chronicles the progression between the high-end vehicle brand and the noted global electronics corporation.

“We collaborated with Razer to craft a unique experience that reflects our enthusiasm for the gaming community, as we both share a passion for cutting-edge innovation and technology,” stated Vinay Shahani, vice president of Lexus Marketing. “From the initial concept to the final product, we have created an unparalleled fusion of luxury vehicles and epic gaming.”

The subsequent duo of instalments of the video series will be broadcast later in this month.

“The Razer Lexus TX goes beyond simple cosmetic changes, creating a variety of fully-equipped gaming stations within the roomy interior of the car,” remarked Bob Picunko, Director of Marketing at Razer Americas. “It’s an impressive feat of engineering and design, allowing gamers to take their gaming experience to the next level.”

The gaming world may be enjoyable, but it seems Lexus are not likely to sanction its use on the roads due to potential safety issues. The addition of non-Lexus components may additionally negate any existing warranty.

Although this project might seem novel, it isn’t the first gaming-inspired build we’ve come across. Ford created the Gamer Van, a Transit Trail van designed to be the “perfect” mobile gaming studio. West Coast Customs also developed a similar concept, this time based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
