Spy Shots Reveal Ford Explorer Redesign

2024 Ford Explorer: Bigger Grille, Larger Touchscreen

Recently uncovered pictures have exposed the refreshed look of the 2024 Ford Explorer. The images, delivered by photographer Brian Williams, feature a remodeled nose and an entirely altered tailgate design. Coming as no surprise, a remodelling of the Ford Explorer is what many had anticipated since the sixth-model edition was released for 2020. With its signature large SUV form factor, a revamp of this popular Ford vehicle was something that had to be done.

The images reveal that the Ford designers have dropped the hexagonal grille which identified the previous sixth-generation Explorer. The grill has now been substituted with a more straight-edged and noticeably bigger version not as dominant as the one on cars including the Lexus RX 350.

Meanwhile, the headlights still meet up with the grill, yet there’s a bottom bezel with Daytime Running Lights. Nevertheless, the configuration of the taillights stays the same. There’s a subtle alteration to the tailgate, comprised of horizontal beams of light.

The design does not hint at the presence of electricity in any form.

Revealing also is the completely revamped interior, consisting of an all-new infotainment touch-screen system. The center stack has been simplified and it appears some buttons have shifted to the screen.

Simultaneously, the touchscreen orientation has been rotated 90 degrees to a landscape configuration.

Gossip surrounding the Ford Explorer being furnished with a bigger touch screen is validated by snapshots, yet it will be essential to stand by for authoritative confirmations in regards to its dimensions.
