Introducing the new Nissan Ariya NISMO | Nissan NISMO

Derived from the formidable e-4ORCE variants, the upcoming Ariya Nismo will come in two different levels of performance: B6 e-4ORCE and B9 e-4ORCE. The entry-level model, B6, generates 362 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, falling slightly short of the top-of-the-line Ariya with its default 389 hp. Underneath the hood lies a 66 kWh battery pack, while the vehicle’s weight on the road is estimated to be around 4,585 lbs.

Those in search of greater muscle will need to choose the B9. Boasting an impressive 429 horsepower and a hefty 443 lb-ft of torque, the Nismo B9 is currently the strongest version of the Ariya. Surprisingly, it even surpasses the newly unveiled Nismo Z in terms of power. However, its weight of 4,894 pounds may hinder its agility in comparison to its sports car counterpart.

Unfortunately, Nissan has not disclosed any performance numbers, however, it will definitely surpass the standard Ariya in terms of speed. Whether it can match the acceleration of the Model Y Performance and Ioniq 5 N is still uncertain, but highly unlikely.

Despite its impressive speed on straight roads, the Ariya boasts a host of other exceptional features. Nismo has meticulously fine-tuned this electric crossover to enhance its handling and dynamic capabilities. Moreover, the accelerator pedal has been optimized for improved responsiveness. In addition, by activating the specialized Nismo mode, the vehicle’s reactions are taken up a notch. According to Nissan, these seats are only available in the Ariya Nismo model, along with the distinct black open-pore wood on the center console. For other models, a luxurious brown veneer finish is offered as an alternative.

More information, such as cost and release date, is anticipated to be released in the future. It is yet to be determined if the Ariya Nismo will be sold in America.
