Overfinch’s unique Land Rover has undergone a questionable transformation.
British luxury vehicle company Overfinch has recently introduced the Land Rover Range Rover Dragon Edition in anticipation of the upcoming Chinese Year of the Dragon. This special edition celebrates the arrival of the highly anticipated holiday and coincides with the festive Chinese New Year celebrations.
Although we are familiar with the elegant designs produced by the UK-based tuner, Overfinch has taken it to another level with their unique interpretation of the Range Rover L460. This customized version could easily rival the luxury of a Bentley Bentayga in terms of sophistication and style. To put it mildly, Overfinch has turned the Range Rover L460 into a work of art.
In order to distinguish the Range Rover Dragon Edition from its counterparts, the exclusive and rare model features unique additions including carbon-fiber ground effects and accents on both the front and back, special commemorative badges, and a set of 24-inch Vortex wheels adorned with a dragon emblem on the self-leveling center caps.
Although the exterior may not be flashy (excluding the wheels), the dragon-inspired interior is anything but subtle. The seats feature intricate dragon embroidery that runs along the backrests, while the rest of the upholstery is adorned with textured dragon scale patterns. Even the headrests are adorned with Chinese characters that spell out “dragon.”
But that’s not everything. The gear lever boasts a design inspired by the claws of a dragon, adorned with an inlay pattern and special badging on the front center console, symbolizing the legendary creature. The concept carries through to the illuminated treadplates on both door sills, featuring a numbered plate that highlights the unique nature of this custom-made model.
Although this demonstration features a combination of Fortune Red and Ebony hues, proprietors have the option of selecting their desired upholstery colors.
According to Kevin Sloane, chairman and CEO of Overfinch, “The Dragon Edition sets a new standard for personalized, high-end luxury in the automotive industry.” He further states, “It is a magnificent display of artistry and skill. This was an exceptionally ambitious undertaking, planned and carried out with meticulous attention to detail.”
The exclusive Range Rover Dragon Edition is a rare and highly sought-after vehicle, with only eight available worldwide at a cost of $250,000 per unit. Its unique design and features make it a desirable choice for the Chinese market, especially with the upcoming festivities in mind. Overfinch has followed in the footsteps of Rolls-Royce, who recently announced four custom-made models to honor the Chinese Year of the Dragon.
There may be those who contend that Rolls executed the festivities in a more sophisticated manner. However, it should be noted that the next Chinese Year of the Dragon is not until another 12 years, lending to this notion.
This post really resonated with me. Keep up the good work.
