This impressive lineup, officially named The Opulence Edition for India, consists of a Continental GT Speed, a Flying Spur Speed, and three Bentayga EWB Azure SUVs.The renowned car manufacturer took inspiration from India’s vibrant national flag to create a bold and luxurious range of vehicles. The Opulence Edition perfectly captures the essence of the Indian culture and combines it with Bentley’s iconic design and craftsmanship. These bespoke vehicles are a true testament to the brand’s dedication to creating unique and personalized driving experiences for their customers. The Opulence Edition for India includes an exquisite Continental GT Speed, a powerful and elegant vehicle that exudes luxury. Its sleek lines and distinctive details, such as the chrome accents and a stunning paint job in saffron color, make it a true standout on the road.Next on the lineup is the Flying Spur Speed, a high-performance sedan designed for those who appreciate opulence and speed. The car boasts a deep green hue, resembling the white stripe on India’s flag, which complements the sophisticated interior adorned with Indian-inspired patterns and motifs. The trio of Bentayga EWB Azure SUVs
Transformations have been made, such as the sophisticated Scarab Green coloring influenced by the outer shell of the Scarab beetle. This marks the debut of this shade in a Mulliner venture. Previously, it was exclusively created for the bespoke Bentley Bacalar, which was restricted to just 12 units. In contrast, the inside has been adorned with Mandarin and Cumbrian Green hides for the primary and secondary interior materials respectively.
Bentley Mumbai and Mulliner collaborated to produce the first-ever bespoke vehicles for the Indian market, featuring a tasteful Piano veneer trim and an elegant chrome motif of mountains and horses. After numerous attempts, the final result is a hand-drawn design, showcasing the seamless synergy between these two entities.
The Opulent Edition of the Continental GT Speed boasts 22-inch Speed wheels, featuring a deep shade and automatic center badges to ensure that the iconic Bentley symbols remain perfectly aligned. The interior of this luxurious grand tourer is enhanced with refined knurled controls and bezels for the instruments. This exclusive model is limited to only one unit, and has already been handed over to a fortunate buyer.
The Continental GT Speed from Bentley boasts an impressive output of 650 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, thanks to its twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 motor.
The Flying Spur Speed possesses subtle distinctions when compared to its coupe relative. It was outfitted with the renowned Naim for Bentley audio system and a refined rotating display. The quilted leather seats are adorned with Mandarin contrast stitching and surrounded by side bolsters for added comfort. To top it off, the elegant Speed embroidery on the headrests adds a luxurious touch. While the sedan flaunts the same wheels as the Continental, it showcases the iconic ‘Flying B’ logo in stainless steel, illuminated against the darkened Speed brightwork.
The only existing model of this vehicle has been created, and it is equipped with the identical W12 engine, although with a slightly lower power output (626 horsepower).
The lineup of the Opulence Edition is enriched by the addition of The Bentayga EWB Azure, which occupies the remaining three positions. In 2022, this extended wheelbase variant was unveiled as a viable option for those in need of a luxurious chauffeur-driven ride. All four models in the Opulence Edition are equipped with a spacious four-seater arrangement, accompanied by a fridge conveniently placed between the rear seats.
The inclusion of Mandarin and Cumbrian Green leather adds distinctive elements to the design. In the Bentayga EWB Azure models, a Mandarin-colored lip adorns the fascia and outlines the green seat bolsters. Additionally, Cumbrian Green is utilized for the contrast stitching on the quilted diamond patterns of the seats and can also be seen on the embroidered “Azure” headrests.
In general, the Opulence Edition Bentleys are significantly more attractive compared to Mulliner’s most recent offering, the initial dual-toned Bentayga EWB.
In the year 2023, a notable 75% of all Bentleys will include Mulliner’s personalized touch. This indicates a significant surge in demand for ultra-luxurious craftsmanship. In comparison, in 2022, only 43% of Bentley sales included Mulliner luxury features. This past year has witnessed Mulliner’s dedication to honoring a war hero with the creation of a unique Bentayga, as well as producing four customized SUVs for the renowned Peninsula Hotel in London.
