Boosted Performance and Fuel Efficiency in 2025 Lexus UX Raises Pricing

Customize Your Lexus UX 300h with Our Configuration Tool!

The official launch of the configurator for the 2025 Lexus UX designed for the US market has been announced, validating the price increase following the introduction of a greatly improved version of the model in late 2020.

In the upcoming 2025 model year, the base version of UX 300h has been priced at $36,340, marking a rise of $1,000 in comparison to its 2024 counterpart, the UX 250h. At the next level, the 2025 UX 300h Premium carries a price tag of $39,540, representing an increase of $1,740 from the 2024 UX 250h Premium.

The subtle rise in cost drastically elevates when considering the F Sport options. The newly released 2025 UX 300h F Sport Design boasts a price tag of $40,290, reflecting a significant $2,490 surge from its 2024 UX 250h counterpart. Similarly, the high-end 2025 UX 300h F Sport Handling now stands at $44,805, indicating a $2,035 spike from the 250 version offered last year.

The prices listed here pertain to the front-wheel-drive variants. For those interested in the all-wheel drive UX 300h, be prepared for an additional $170 increase from last year’s cost of adding this feature, now priced at $1,570 on top of the base price (compared to $1,400 in 2024). Please note that these prices do not cover the $1,150 delivery and handling charges.

As previously noted, there has been a rise in price accompanying an enhancement in performance and effectiveness, all thanks to the identical 2.0-liter hybrid mechanism utilized in the Corolla Cross Hybrid. As a result, the power output for the UX 300h has conveniently risen from 181 to 196 horsepower. Furthermore, the battery for the upcoming 2025 model has been upgraded to lithium-ion, replacing the previous nickel-metal hydride technology.

The latest enhancement has enhanced the acceleration of the crossover, with 0-60 mph times of 8.0 seconds for front-wheel drive and 7.9 seconds for all-wheel drive. This is a notable improvement of 0.4 seconds compared to the previous 2024 model. The estimated combined fuel economy rating for the front-wheel drive 2025 models is 43 mpg, a slight increase from the UX250h’s 42 mpg. Meanwhile, the all-wheel drive versions offer a promising 41 mpg.

The recent update for the 2025 model includes the advanced Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, along with a new addition: the Safe Exit Alert. This feature, similar to the Exit Warning Alert in the Ford Mustang, provides further safety measures for drivers.

In case the rising prices are unaffordable, the 2024 UX 250h is still accessible through Lexus’ stock, varying upon your geographical vicinity.
