Chrysler PT Cruiser Upgraded with Bentley Wheels

Chrysler’s Transformation with Bentley Wheels

The Chrysler PT Cruiser was virtually despised by many during the early 21st century. At a moment when throwback designs were popular, Chrysler’s attempt to join this trend proved unsuccessful, in stark opposition to the triumphant designs of the Mini Cooper and Fiat 500.

We deem this one of the most unattractive cars ever. Initially brought to light by The Drive, this Latvia-located instance reveals that slight alterations have the power to puzzlely transform the undeserving American into an oddly appealing car.

Verified The 19-inch wheels, taken from the initial-run Continental GT, appear attractive and provide an added edge and sense of weightiness once installed below the vehicle’s arches. With the sporty GT version of the PT Cruiser donning more noticeable spoilers and fenders, the nine-spokes impart an even greater visual impact.

The Bentley rims have a distinctive bolt pattern unlike the PT Cruiser, yet the proprietor found an innovative solution by adding wheel spacers. Aside from the double hood scoops and roof rack, it looks like the Chrysler has remained unmodified. This is an excellent example of what a well-chosen set of wheels can do to revamp the look of a car, even one as visually contested as this one is.

Being a spin-off of the GT, this PT Cruiser is powered by the same turbocharged four-cylinder that was found on the widely known Dodge Neon SRT-4. This 2.4-liter motor envisions up to 230hp and 245 lb-ft of torque, rendering it decently spirited. Although its highest velocity is limited to 124 mph, we think that this PT Cruiser GT is truly more about urban traversing and looking great.

A post has been shared by Jevgenij Kostjukevich (@dzhedyd); commending his fans on the tremendous support they proffer. He expressed appreciation to everyone who daringly put up with his journey and encouraged him during his accomplishments. Jev credits their assistance for blessing him with a successful path and wishes to show his gratitude one more time.

It’s a mystery why it is successful, however, regardless of that, it is certainly wonderful to witness those unimpressive cars getting a chance at being chic again – and, all that was called for ultimately was a cosmetically superior set of rims. We would hazard a guess that the titleholder invested quite a lot in the previously owned Bentley hubs. Then, when we scanned the classifieds, we noticed a scruffy-looking edition costing the sum of three thousand two hundred dollars.

This isn’t the first custom PT Cruiser we’ve seen; many moons ago, there was one with a beefed-up engine making an incredible 808 hp. As such, it could surely keep up with the likes of the Hellcat! This specific example featured a roll cage, bucket seats, aerodynamic enhancements, plus a turbocharger so large it’s basically a Garrett GT35R.

At this point, Chrysler is transitioning to an electrified era and we don’t doubt that the company might revive the PT Cruiser. Considerable changes in its appearance, along with a sleeker design, may be all it needs to capture the attention of customers in the subcompact market once again.
