First Look at Fully Equipped Hyundai Palisade: Inside & Out Spy Shots Leak

SUV undergoes extensive revamp, including powertrain upgrades.

After making its debut in 2020 and receiving a facelift in 2023, the Hyundai Palisade is gearing up for a major makeover with a brand new generation. Recently, some development mules were spotted testing in Sweden, providing us with a glimpse of its outline and interior.Initial launching back in 2020 and then receiving a revamping in 2023, the Hyundai Palisade is now undergoing a full overhaul for its next-generation. Our first look at this transformation comes from spy shots taken in Sweden, giving us a preliminary idea of the vehicle’s design and an inside peek at its cabin.

As this is an initial prototype, Hyundai aims to prevent any expert graphic designers from speculating about the design. As a result, significant coverings have been added to crucial parts such as the hood, and other components are strategically concealed across the entire frame. Despite these measures, it is highly likely that the upcoming Palisade will maintain the square appearance of the recently released Santa Fe.

While there is limited information available at the moment, it has been noted that the roof has been left exposed, giving us a better view of the functional roof rails. The design of the fascia remains uncertain, but it seems clear that the SUV will feature split headlights and a wide grille with sleek slats spanning its entire width. Hyundai has stated its intentions to revamp the SUV with American preferences in mind, catering to the needs and desires of our market.

Within the interior of the cabin, it is apparent that the driver cluster and infotainment display will be combined through a pair of screens, both tucked beneath a smooth and curved glass surface. The presence of physical buttons and knobs, including on the steering wheel, is still evident. While the details of the center console remain somewhat obscure, we can make out several USB ports.

Test technicians gave our photographers the go-ahead to capture photos of the compartment where the engine is housed, providing a glimpse at a turbocharged inline motor. There are various potential choices for the powerhouse, however speculation suggests a potential 2.5-liter turbo gasoline-electric hybrid or a 3.5-liter gasoline V6.

According to Olabisi Boyle, Hyundai’s VP of product planning, the upcoming Palisade will be “next level.” This statement was confirmed to us towards the end of last year. While there were previous rumors about a performance-focused Palisade N, it is still uncertain if this will come to fruition. However, we can anticipate enhancements in all other aspects. As the year progresses, we can expect to see more sightings of prototypes, but the official unveiling is not expected until 2025.

  1. Hey! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on. Any recommendations?
