Inside, the Texas Trail boasts premium black cloth seats with embroidered “Texas Trail” logos, adding another element of exclusivity to this edition. In addition to the design updates, the Texas Trail also offers a range of modern technology features including a large touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone integration, and safety features like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The Texas Trail is

Named the Lone Star Edition, the latest limited version takes inspiration from the Sport S model, positioned just above the base level Sport trim. As expected, this particular variant will only be available in Texas, catering to the state’s avid truck enthusiasts with unique features. Regrettably, Jeep has only released a solitary photo of this fresh arrival.

To begin, Jeep has outfitted the Gladiator Texas Trail with sleek black 17-inch wheels. These are enveloped in sturdy 32-inch mud-terrain tires, providing the Jeep with unstoppable power in challenging terrain. The included four-wheel drive and selective two-speed transfer case (featuring a low-range gear ratio of 2.72:1) enhance its off-roading abilities.

The outer appearance is enhanced by unique graphics designed specifically for this model, such as the striking Texas Trail decals placed on both the top and rear of the vehicle. These distinctive stickers pay homage to the significant year 1836, which marks the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence.

Consumers have the option to select from a total of seven different exterior shades for their vehicle. These include Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red, Anvil, and High Velocity.

Aside from these features, the Texas Trail also takes advantage of the same equipment available on the usual Sport S model. The exterior boasts a body-colored hardtop and sturdy steel rock rails. Unlock the interior with keyless entry and you’ll be greeted with power windows and mirrors, along with advanced amenities such as adaptive cruise control, heated front seats and steering wheel, forward collision warning, and a spacious 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen. In its MY2024 update, Jeep has included side-curtain airbags for both the first and second rows.

The source of strength originates from the familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine generates a commendable 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, the previously available EcoDiesel engine has been eliminated prior to the vehicle’s redesign. However, there is speculation that Jeep will offer a new 4xe hybrid powertrain as part of their lineup.

The Texas Trail edition is not a recent addition. The Stellantis-owned company originally unveiled this exclusive model in 2021, however, it was previously offered in alternative shades and with a diesel option.

According to Bill Peffer, head of Jeep brand North America, the latest Gladiator special edition continues to strengthen our relationship with our enthusiastic customers, following the triumph of the previous Gladiator Texas Trail. This specific model was the top-selling Gladiator in Texas last year, with a sales rate almost three times higher than the average Gladiator.

The starting price for this product begins at $48,090, not including the additional charge of $1,895 for destination fees.

For those residing outside of Texas, Jeep has recently unveiled the Wrangler and Gladiator Beach limited editions.
