Land Rover Limits Wheel Size to Maximum of 23 Inches.

JLR, previously called Jaguar Land Rover, has stated that it is unable to exceed 23 inches when it comes to wheel size for its customers.

During an interview with Car Throttle, JLR’s Vehicle Engineering Director, Matt Becker, was asked about the possibility of a 24-inch carbon fiber wheel option for customers in the near future. In response, Becker stated, “You wouldn’t want to go much bigger than that. I don’t see many 24-inch wheels. 23 seems to be about the limit.” This statement highlights Becker’s belief that 24-inch wheels may not be the most practical or desirable option for customers, with 23 inches being the maximum size he envisions for wheels.

The obvious response was a negative one, but Becker offered valuable information about the current 23-inch carbon fiber choice for the Range Rover Sport SV. In the United States, the 23-inch gloss dark tint carbon fiber wheels are an additional $10,150, however they are included as standard if you select the Carbon Bronze package, which also includes carbon ceramic brakes and various exterior and interior design elements.

Although they come at a steep price, there is an extraordinary demand for these particular wheels.
