To mark its 75th anniversary, Porsche is rolling out an array of occurrences to remember its legacy. Also watchable videos and concepts, Porsche is also financing shows and art cars that focus on the story of its past and future aspirations. In addition, Porsche has united with Microsoft to unveil a distinct version of the Xbox Series X that takes influence from their cars.

Unveiled during the Summer Game Fest this week, the Xbox Series X consoles feature liveries of some of Porsche’s most iconic racing cars. The six designs consist of several 917 models, including the 917/20 “Pink Pig” from 1971 LeMans, the “Hippie” 917LH, and the red and white livery of the winning 1970 car. Other liveries include the 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Mobil 1, several versions of the Martini and Rossi cars, and a design commemorating the Porsche 963 car racing in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Only 75 units of the exclusive Porsche-themed edition Xbox consoles are up for grabs; each one consisting of a wireless Xbox controller in an identical design. Nevertheless, where can you get one? That’s the problem. All 75 consoles serve as prizes in a competition available for US, UK and German citizens aged 18 and over. The sweepstakes event begun on June 8th and ended on October 1. Everyday, entrants are allowed just one entry per day on the Porsche Xbox Sweepstakes website.

Those of us who haven’t been awarded with one of the luxurious Porsche-themed Xboxes can take solace in the arrival of the latest installment of Forza Motorsport. Expected to arrive this October, the game is estimated to have over 500 ultra-realistic cars including the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray and Cadillac Racing V-Series prototype. Plus, gamers will be able to explore all kinds of novel tracks with the addition of its new single-player mode also featuring the capacity for car customization. Additionally, the blind gamer community can manufacture an even better experience with the newly incorporated Blind Driving Assists and One Touch Driving – which assists those who require help achieving multiple button presses at once.
