This particular chassis, number 7 out of a total of 11 produced, was constructed in 2002, a few years following the upgrade of the car’s engine capacity from 6.0 to 7.0 liters. The vehicle generated 610 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque after this modification, however, this specific model never participated in an official factory race. Initially created as a backup, it was eventually sold to SRT and then used in competitions such as Belcar, GT FFSA, and FIA GT series.

Katech provided the engines for the racer manufactured by Pratt and Miller, which was matched with a six-speed manual, a five-speed manual, or a six-speed sequential transmission. This model was assembled between 1999 and 2004.

The C5-R emerged victorious in 31 out of the 55 races it took part in by the year 2004, fiercely competing for top spots in the GT, GTS/GT1, and GTO categories. It secured wins in prestigious events such as the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans before being succeeded by the CR.6 in 2005.

The Corvette was completely restored by Arts and Revs from 2016 to 2019, and the Chevy is now prepared for racing. The listing from Art and Revs, based in Luxembourg, did not specify the price, so it can be assumed that it will be quite costly.
