Due to the different weight distribution, the suspension at both the front and rear axles has been completely retuned, according to the car manufacturer. The CR-V e:FCEV will now feature a MacPherson strut front and a multi-link rear suspension system. In order to improve stability and handling, the rear lateral rigidity has been increased by 10 percent and the rear torsional rigidity by 9 percent compared to previous models with traditional combustion engines. Honda’s debut of their new CR-V e:FCEV marks the introduction of their next-generation fuel cell module.
