Stunning Inside and Out: A Striking Box Concept
Genesis has recently unveiled their latest concept vehicle, the Neolun, at the New York Auto Show. According to Genesis Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke, the Neolun draws inspiration from “Korea’s iconic moon-shaped porcelain jars.” The concept boasts a distinctive boxy design and features Genesis’s signature “two lines” lighting motif on both the front and rear.
This concept vehicle boasts a sleek Midnight Black and Majestic Blue dual-tone exterior finish, complemented by opulent Royal Indigo leather seats adorned with white detailing on the interior. The two rows of plush seats are capable of rotating towards each other, creating a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a living room. Additionally, the floor of the car features a heating system, ensuring warmth throughout the entire cabin, not just the seats themselves.
The Neolun boasts a unique sound system equipped with a sophisticated “acoustic design” that offers travelers a completely captivating, theater-like auditory sensation. As with the GV60, the front compartment features a rotating crystal orb that activates the audio system.
The Neolun design from Genesis gives us a glimpse of their new, spacious SUV. Although this concept features only two rows of seats, it’s been confirmed that a production GV90 is in the works, which will most likely include a third row. Following the example of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Genesis may come out with two versions of the GV90 – one with two rows of high-end seats, and another with the conventional three-row seating arrangement.
Specifications such as functionality, engine, and cost are still shrouded in uncertainty. It is expected that we will gain further insight into the potential appearance of the final product based on this concept before the conclusion of this year.
