The focus of their optimization efforts was the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine; by implementing their MHtronik additional control unit, they were able to enhance its performance. As a result, the hybrid unit – which consists of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine and electric motor – can now produce an astounding 715 horsepower and 826 lb-ft of torque.

The remarkable numbers of the Manhart CRE 700 do not adequately reflect the true capability of the AMG C 63 S E Performance, especially if the hybrid emits a standard hum from its four-cylinder engine. Therefore, the German tuner has equipped the exhaust system with sports downpipes and 300-cell catalytic converters. As a result, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine of the CRE 700 roars with a newfound vigor, surpassing the sound of its counterpart, the AMG C 63 S E Performance.

Manhart has significantly altered the appearance of the CRE 700 on the outside, choosing to coat the sedan’s body in a sleek black finish. Additionally, they have added their own custom decal set featuring intricate stripes and lettering, similar to the modifications they made to the AMG SL model. The tuner has opted to give the CRE 700 a more intimidating look by darkening all visible chrome elements, including the striking Mercedes emblem on the front and the door handles.

Aside from that, the German customization shop incorporated touches of red on the supercar’s original matte black AMG wheels. In addition, Manhart adorned the rims with Michelin tires, with the measurements of 265/35 ZR20 for the front and 275/35 ZR20 for the rear. Not only that, but the CRE 700 now sits about 20 mm lower, thanks to the utilization of MANHART lowering springs produced by H&R.

Manhart decided not to modify the interior of the AMG C 63 S E Performance, choosing to maintain the bucket seats and red accents. The tuner from Germany confesses that they did not alter the braking system and instead chose to use the original one.
