Upgrade Your Nissan: $10k for NISMO Off-Road Parts on the Frontier Forsberg Edition

Chicago Auto Show Reveal: See the Ariya’s Worldwide Debut!

Following his victory at the NORRA 500 race in a customized truck, Chris Forsberg has inspired Nissan to release their very own Frontier Forsberg Edition. This package, which can be installed by dealers, elevates the durability of the midsize truck through a blend of sporty design and practical features, all thanks to the collaboration between Nissan, Forsberg Racing, and professional drifter, Chris Forsberg.

Similar to the adapted racing truck, the Frontier Forsberg Edition is equipped with NISMO Off-Road components, including rock sliders, a roof rack featuring built-in LED lights, and 17-inch Axis beadlock wheels fitted with Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tires. It also features subtle Forsberg Racing decals and badging to avoid an overly ostentatious appearance.

Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a NISMO Off-Road lift kit and suspension components such as forged upper control arms and high-performance shocks. Additionally, it features a cat-back exhaust system.

The Frontier Forsberg Edition package is not equipped with any enhancements for its powertrain – the standard lineup retains the unchanged 3.8-liter V6 engine, generating 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque.

In the autumn, customers will have the opportunity to purchase the highly anticipated Frontier Forsberg Edition package for a suggested retail price of $9,999. This package can be installed by a certified Nissan dealership on any 4×2 model of the Frontier Crew Cab pickup. The starting price for the 2024 lineup of Frontier Crew Cab models is $31,070 (excluding destination charges).

Current Frontier owners (2022 models or newer) also have the option to acquire and upgrade it onto their vehicles.

“We embarked on a journey with a stock truck equipped with NISMO Off Road parts, starting from our shop in Southern California and driving it all the way to the event. We then raced through the challenging terrain of the Baja desert for a grueling 500 miles, and finally made the journey back home without encountering any problems,” stated Chris Forsberg. “It’s truly exciting to know that more drivers will now have the opportunity to experience the raw power and durability that contributed to our triumph in the NORRA 500.”

The highly anticipated Frontier Forsberg Edition is set to make its official appearance at the upcoming 2024 Chicago Auto Show from February 10 to 19. Accompanying it will be Nissan’s revolutionary Ariya e-4ORCE, which holds the record as the first electric vehicle to successfully complete the grueling journey from the North Pole to the South Pole, covering a distance of over 18,000 miles in just 10 months.
