2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X: New Duramax Diesel Option

A new power plant has been added as standard equipment to the luxurious and rugged GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X for 2024; one that doesn’t require gasoline. It is the 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel inline-six, bringing with it an improved performance of 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque – representing a 10% surge in power and an increment of 7.6% torque. You can similarly find the same engine in Silverado ZR2, which grants inhabitants identical all-terrain capability. At this time, exact economization figures are not revealed by the EPA; however, we can presume the diesel will be the most fuel efficient amongst the models offered.

GMC intends to put together the powerplant at its Flint Engine Operations factory situated in Michigan with access on the 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4X for later this summer.
