2025 Ferrari Hypercar Test Mule Caught on Camera

No Need to Fear – Production Version Different

“F250,” Ferrari’s upcoming hypercar, is far from a pretty sight right now. That’s because the Prancing Horse isn’t ready to show us what it will look like yet. This test mule is a combination of old and new body parts, with some provisional bits added to conceal the real design. It’s a similar situation to what we saw with the LaFerrari, where the test mules weren’t particularly attractive either.

The large rear wing may be legitimate, but the twin round exhausts are not what they seem–the actual exhaust is located slightly higher and hidden behind the grille. The square quad taillights appear to be taken from the SF90 Stradale, so we anticipate that the production variant will have a unique setup.

The multi-tiered side air intakes suggest substantial power lurking directly beneath the seating, but reports indicate that the V12 will be replaced with a smaller hybrid setup. What precisely it will be, be it a V8 or V6, remains to be unveiled; however, at least one electric motor means this vehicle should be able to provide more than 1,000 horsepower. The Le Mans Hypercar 499P is outfitted with a derivative of the 296 GTB/GT3 engine, thus don’t be too taken aback if the LaFerrari successor just has 6 cylinders.

Rumors have been flying that the initial offering of the new model will be showcased before 2020. A coupe is expected to be released first, after which a Spider and a formidable XX version should come out sometime before the end of the decade. The speculated total production is expected to total 828 vehicles, with 599 coupes, 199 convertibles, and 30 XX designs.
