Renowned for their stunning customizations, Singer’s modified Porsche models are among the most visually appealing in existence. Surprisingly, these masterpieces are not as common on the road as one might assume. Recently unveiled as the 300th project by the company, the Sotto model is a true showstopper.

The 1990 Porsche 911 Targa served as the initial model for this car, which was then enhanced by Singer to achieve a more vintage appearance, a signature characteristic of all their projects. Adorned in a striking Resistance Blue hue, the carbon-fiber body is accentuated by a subtle “Porsche” emblem ghosted along the lower sides. The dark blue removable roof panel adds a touch of contrast to the overall design. Additionally, the Fuchs-style five-spoke wheels showcase the massive carbon-ceramic brakes that lie behind them.

Within the confines of this vehicle, the purchaser made the decision to go for a bold shade of Orange leather that adorns not only the seats but also the door panels and lower section of the dashboard. The tachometer perfectly complements the rest of the interior. The seats themselves showcase woven centers interlaced with nickel grommets.

Removing the bonnet exposes the breathtaking 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine crafted by Singer, boasting a mighty output of 390 horsepower with a staggering 9,000 rpm redline. The engine is fitted with a titanium exhaust. The purchaser opted for the superior five-speed manual transmission – a smart selection. However, for those seeking even more performance, Singer also provides a six-speed gearbox option.

Singer was established in 2009 and swiftly gained a loyal fan base. Currently, it runs a 115,000-square-foot plant in Torrance, California, which integrates manufacturing, coating, construction, and interior design all within a single location. Additionally, the company holds a separate showcase in the United Kingdom.

In the year 2022, Singer revealed that it would be temporarily halting the acceptance of orders for its Classic Study models, such as this 911 model. At the time, CEO Rob Dickinson stated that the company’s aim was to restrict the production of these models to a total of 450 units.

The turbo lineup from Singer is highly sought after by car enthusiasts. These models pay homage to the 1970s 911 Turbos, and have been causing a frenzy among buyers. There is an array of options available, including race car-inspired exteriors, convertibles, and classic coupes.
