BMW XM Red: Up to $198,544 Configurations Now Available

Limited Options with ~$13K Added to $185K Car Price

BMW has recently made available its XM Label Red configurator on its website. The waitlist for the luxury SUV, which begins at $185,995 inclusive of destination expenses, has been open since February but this marks the first time customers can customize it. Potential buyers can select virtually any color for the car, including metallics like Anglesey Green Metallic, the matte Frozen Black, Ruby Black Metallic and Frozen Tulum Blue.

Standard rims come as 22-inch double-spoke, two-tone M Light Alloys, while 23-inch M Light Alloy Star-spoke are offered optionally. Those looking to buy can choose amongst diverse tire options: all-season, performance, and high-performance compounds. Opting for any of these packages won’t add to the cost – the same is valid when you pick the Toronto Red exterior trim or M Sport brakes with either blue or red calipers.

The sensational BMW XM Label Red in Merino leather with vivid red accents and high-end Carbon Fiber M Signature trim comes standard. If you want to splurge, opt for the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System; your pocketbook will be lighter by the amount of $3,400. This magnificent sound system contains unique Diamond Dome tweeters, active amplifying channels, and QuantumLogic Surround/Dynamic Audio Equalization.

Consumers who opt for the optional $2,500 M Driver’s Package obtain not only a higher top speed on their BMW performance car but also gain access to a one-day high-performance driving course at the BMW Performance Center. At the course, participants can take their XM through adrenaline-pumping manoeuvres that enable them to test out the uppermost capabilities of the vehicle in a safely controlled atmosphere.

The concluding check calls for a selection of BMW Ultimate Care+ packages, which are valued from $850 to $6,649 depending on the amount of upkeep and span. The highest tier BMW Ultimate Care+ 4 Package involves extended protection as well as substitution of everyday items for an extra four years and 89,000 miles. This increases the overall security to seven years or 125,000 miles and is handed down if you part with your car.

The final cost comes to $198,544 including any delivery fees; only a mere $12,549 higher than the basic amount. Surprisingly, BMW has limited additional options with the XM Flag Red edition, yet if you elect for the regular BMW X3 sDrive30i, it would cost an increase of over $17,000.
