Bulgari Designs Car for Gran Turismo Watch

Earn a Car in-Game by Buying a Watch

For the initial time in history, exquisite jewelry maker Bulgari has formulated an automobile, albeit one just for the imaginary realm of Gran Turismo. Dubbed the Bulgari Aluminium Visualization Gran Turismo when demonstrated at the Gran Turismo Universe Sequence World Finals 2023, its form is inspired from the BVLGARI Aluminum wrist watch from 1998 and is equally driven by notion cars of the Sixties and Seventies.

It was conceived in cooperation by Bulgari Product Generation Chief Executive Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and former design director of Pininfarina, Fabio Filippini. It doesn’t even begin to compare to the sleek lines of vehicles such as the Battista produced by Pininfarina; however, being a Vision GT concept, it’s required to make an impact.

BVLGARI Aluminium Vision Gran Turismo: Unveiled

Rather reminiscent of the Pininfarina B95, this concept lacks a typical windshield and roof. The eye-catching curved wheel arches, angular edges, formidable front light bar, and mid-mounted exhaust all amalgamate to result in an extravagant cyber punk look, but it still holds the silhouette of a luxurious product.

Within, two seat basins with safety belts occupy a straightforward yet targeted cockpit. The pilot is equipped here with an array of dials mirroring Bulgari’s dynamometer collection. While there may not be screens trendy, it certainly looks smashing.

It’s natural that a firm such as Bulgari needs to advertise their very own products. Therefore, two brand-new watches have been developed as part of the Vision GT endeavour.

The freshly-unveiled watches have a technical moniker that mirrors the notion behind the car concept and these are exclusive editions predominantly built with aluminum and rubber. The dial and the caseback boast titanium created expressly for this range; also displaying the 10th Year Anniversary Grand Touring Vision logo at its back.

Offering 500 watches having a yellow dial, the selection of special-edition models with an anthracite dial and yellow indicators will be 1,200. Whoever obtains one of these restricted timepieces is going to also get a code to access the corresponding car in Gran Turismo 7. The cost? A whooping$4,800.

Though the reality of Bulgari’s imaginings will not come to pass, at the same event another concept was unveiled: the Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo. It has the potential to one day transform into a signature car for the South Korean automaker.
