Genesis EV Goes Nationwide

BEV Conversion Before 2030

Genesis declared that its whole range of electric cars will be available in all the places that have a Genesis dealership prior to it switching exclusively to electric power by 2030. At the launch of the electrified GV70 model, which you can find out more information about soon, the firm made this announcement.

“Our EV sales growth is a very calculated move,” said Jarred Pellat, Senior Manager for PR and Communications of Genesis North America. “We are making sure that there will be adequate supply of these vehicles. We are also ensuring that our dealers are ready and have undergone the appropriate EV certification process. Genesis EVs will be available at all locations where Genesis cars are sold.” Pellat was unable to give a specific date, but he did stress that the process is currently underway.

This transition won’t occur immediately, of course; however, the South Korean high-end line has already created substantial progress. Now, the GV60 is obtainable in states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Utah, and Washington. Similarly, you can also purchase the Electrified GV80 in these places, along with Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Virginia.

The newly formed Electrified GV70 is the exclusive Genesis all-electric car crafted in the United States at the car manufacturer’s Montgomery assembly plant. Intriguingly, Pellat also declared that solely the US shall obtain Alabama-manufactured automobiles; meanwhile markets such as Europe, Canada and any various others will get their own Electrified GV70s imported from South Korea.

The Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) has earned itself a uniquely impressive reputation among automobile manufacturing plants due to its one-of-a-kind, single assembly line which assembles the Hyundai Sonata, Elantra, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Tucson and new Electrified GV70. There is no mistaking the difference between vehicles as robotic arms continuously make their way down the line.

Robots are currently pushing out a glossy finish and blending colors for the latest Hyundai model, the Electrified GV70. Incredible! Preparation for the 2023 Electrified GV70 has commenced, and it will be available from specialized dealerships in those specified areas soon enough.

For all Genesis Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), purchasers are eligible to receive three years worth of no cost, 30-minute allocations at Electrify America’s Direct Current (DC) fast chargers commencing from their date of purchase. Through the utilization of Genesis Connected Services and Electrify America’s dedicated mobile application, users can quickly and easily locate those charging stations.

The Genesis Electrified GV70 of 2023 will fetch the Advanced trim for $65,850 and the Prestige trim for $72,650. This doesn’t account for the destination fee that stands at $1,125. Luckily, purchasers may take advantage of the $7,500 EV tax credit made available by the Inflation Reduction Act.
