Rebuilding for a Luxurious Sky View Finish
Bugatti has unveiled two extraordinary, specially configured Chiron Super Sport models that pay tribute to the celebrated L’Or Blanc, undeniably one of many fabulous special editions inspired by the Veyron. That car had a strikingly original finish which was later replicated with Vagues de Lumiere, an individualized, hand-painted pattern unique to each vehicle thanks to the human factor.

When the spouse witnessed this, he concluded that his car wasn’t one-of-a-kind enough and determined to ship it from Tennessee back to France. There, it would be taken apart and reconstructed in a seven-month process. Including a corresponding color scheme and furnishings, he also wished to install the discretionary Sky View roof. To make sure dirt and disarray wouldn’t be overlooked, the entire cockpit was deconstructed before affixing the roof.
He produced a very striking blue concoction, aptly named “Coup de Foudre.” This phrase has two meanings in English: “bolt of lightning” and “love at first sight.”
Thanks to a full and comprehensive refinishing, the older Chiron Super Sport seems like everfresh new, and you would be unable to discern that two cars were not purchased together since they will probably have minor variations in them.
“Every car necessitates a distinct approach,” elucidates Sur Mesure’s head designer Jascha Straub. “For instance, a Chiron Pur Sport will display different glints to a Chiron Super Sport, so we always strive for perfection. The real beauty of these vehicles is also in their singularity – each painter has their own style, so every car is one-of-a-kind.”
One can only speculate the financial implications of such creative genius, however the benefits are distinctly worth it.
