27-inch OLED seamlessly integrates driver’s display and infotainment.
The GV70 made its debut in late 2020, prompting Genesis to initiate a mid-cycle refresh. With over 200,000 units sold, the upscale SUV will feature subtle exterior tweaks and significant interior upgrades.
In 2025, the GV70 is making some updates by replacing its dual screens with the same 27.0-inch OLED screen found on the G80, GV80, and GV80 Coupe from last year. Along with the larger display, there are other changes as well. The design of the climate control panel has been refreshed, and the shortcut buttons for media settings have been moved. Instead of being located below the smaller HVAC screen, they are now positioned above it. Genesis previously had silver keys, but the new ones are shiny black, accompanied by a pair of silver knobs that were missing in the old model.
The newly designed steering wheel in two colors features the updated Genesis winged logo, and the central air vents are now encased in a glossy black oval trim. The luxury division of Hyundai indicates that it has adjusted the ambient lighting and implemented additional modifications to the GV70 Sport model. The higher-end trim option includes a flat-bottomed steering wheel with vibrant orange stitching for a more dynamic look.
When venturing outdoors, the GV70 remains largely unchanged. The notably large grille now features a new pattern for both the standard and Sport models. Genesis has introduced a faux skid plate to enhance the vehicle’s rugged appearance and has crafted new 19-inch wheels. The slightly refreshed headlights and taillights still embody the “Two Lines” theme. Completing the exterior updates are the redesigned exhaust finishers.
As anticipated from Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles, today’s announcement focuses solely on the design updates that will most likely also be incorporated into the GV70 Electrified. Of course, the new exhaust system is not included in these changes. Further details regarding the technical specifications will be revealed at a later time.
