Constructing a custom car from scratch is an incredible undertaking that necessitates a great deal of engineering skills, ingenuity, and dogged perseverance. Through fantastic effort, the twin brothers Nikita and Illiya Bridan from Oil Stain Lab have finished an impressive sports car (just about) from the ground up.

Utilizing their fervor and proficiency, the pair performed an extraordinary voyage that ultimately involved modifying a 1966 Porsche 912 coupe into a distinguished wonder. Open-wheel racing has evidently had an instrumental role in its creative process, too. This unique prototype was showcased in a recent Top Gear clip, in which Rob Dahm gets to enjoy a ride at the wheel.

What makes this Porsche custom stand out amongst its peers is the enterprising selection to integrate a GM-built engine. The LS V8 has been given a heavy-handed upgrade, alongside a special exhale system – and both appear to be masterworks of artistry. Now able to generate 650 horse power and 650 pound-feet of torque, the roughly 1,900 pound automobile promises it will provide Dahm with much joy as he speeds off.

A daring design necessitates plenty of unconventional reasoning, one example being the 911 GT2-derived transaxle which has been upended to befit the auto’s architecture. What may a succeeding iteration of the car resemble? Nikita hypothesizes it to have a window, gullwing portals and be given in a coupe framework.
