Lamborghini’s Record-Breaking Sales Boosted by V12 Supercar
In March of last year, Lamborghini revealed the replacement for the Aventador and by the end of the year, the first models had been handed over to buyers. The V12 Revuelto has had a successful launch, as the company has recently announced that there is currently a lengthy waitlist for the top-of-the-line vehicle from Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Lamborghini recently released their sales data for the previous year, announcing a remarkable milestone of over 10,000 cars sold in just twelve months. This marked a new record for the company. However, what caught our attention even more was the news that the highly sought-after Revuelto model is completely sold out until late 2026. In other words, if you place an order for this electrified V12 supercar today, you will have to wait almost three years before receiving your vehicle.
It is worth mentioning that Lamborghini is currently only offering the base model of Revuelto. However, they plan to introduce a line of more extreme versions and limited editions later in the car’s production, but this will not occur until demand decreases. It took seven years for Lamborghini to release the Aventador Super Veloce Jota LP770-4 after the initial Aventador launch. Therefore, it is possible that the Revuelto SVJ will follow a similar timetable.
Lamborghini anticipates that the Revuelto will have a significant impact on the brand’s expansion in its top three markets. The United States remains the largest market for Lamborghini vehicles, with Germany and China trailing close behind. In the previous year, the Urus was the top-selling model for the company, followed by the Huracan. While 12 Aventadors were delivered to their proud new owners, Lamborghini has yet to reveal the initial production and sales figures for the Revuelto.
