New information has been revealed in a tweet, giving us more details about the specifications of the car. According to the tweet, the car will have an impressive range of 330 miles and will be able to reach 0-60 mph in just three seconds. The dimensions of the car have also been shared, indicating that the R2 will measure 185.6 inches in length, 75 inches in width (without mirrors), and 66.9 inches in height. The overall size of the car with mirrors is expected to be around 84.4 inches.

According to sources, the maximum ground clearance measures at 9.8 inches. The car is also rumored to come equipped with 32-inch tires and have an approach angle of 25 degrees. As for the departure angle, it is reported to be 27°. However, the breakover angle has not been disclosed yet. Hopefully, Mr. Scaringe will reveal these specifications during the unveiling of the R2 in two days.

It seems that the R2 model will bear a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the R1S. Based on the latest teaser image, we can see a full-width taillight bar and a black roof, mirroring the design of the current R1. This is consistent with the previous teaser which also showcased similar R1 features on the front end. It is safe to assume that the interior will follow suit; why meddle with a sleek design that has already gained popularity?

On March 7, the public will be introduced to the latest version of R2, to be showcased by Rivian. Alongside this unveiling, reservations will also be opened by the company, with an option for fully refundable deposits.
