In an interview with Bloomberg, the car company stated that their Mega model is currently the biggest electric vehicle being produced on a mass scale globally. It is unclear if Li Auto was specifically referring to it being the largest minivan or the largest car in general, but it falls short in size compared to other models such as the Cadillac Escalade IQ and GMC Hummer EV Pickup. With dimensions of 210 inches in length, 72.8 inches in height, and 77.4 inches in width, there are indeed larger electric vehicles available for purchase.

With this in mind, the Mega remains a considerable device. Despite its ample dimensions, it weighs an unexpectedly low (for an electric vehicle) 6,140 pounds. That is still 2.6 times greater than a nimble sports car such as the Mazda MX-5 Miata.

The eccentric appearance resembles a mixture of various recent electric vehicles. The front grille and certain contours are reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck, while the overall structure bears similarities to both the Lucid Gravity and the Hyundai Staria.

While not exactly aesthetically pleasing, this vehicle still holds a certain charm and is far more alluring than the standard minivans commonly found for purchase in the United States. The extensive windows allow for a glimpse into the sizable interior, which can easily accommodate seven passengers.

The luxurious cabin offers a choice between white or brown Nappa leather upholstery. It comes with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable ride. The interior features a 2-2-3 arrangement, with separate captain’s chairs in the middle row. Passengers sitting in these seats can enjoy wireless charging and an unobstructed view of the rear entertainment system. Surprisingly, there is also a refrigerator, seat massagers, and power adjustment for all three rows.

Naturally, the driver and front passenger enjoy the luxury of heated and ventilated seats, while those in the back seat also receive the added comfort of heated leg rests and seat heating. The list of specifications far surpasses what can be listed here, resembling more of a lengthy novel due to its extensive and complete equipment.

The cabin can be modified to suit your preferences. Looking to embark on a camping trip? The middle and back seats are able to be stored, creating extra space for a mattress to be fitted in the back. With numerous arrangements for seating, this vehicle truly serves multiple purposes.

When it comes to performance, the Mega boasts an impressive 536 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. This makes the hefty family vehicle capable of reaching 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds, which is notably faster than the all-electric Volvo EM90. Despite having a smaller 102.7 kWh battery compared to its Swedish counterpart, the Mega still delivers a comparable range of 441 miles on the CLTC cycle.

What is the cost associated with all of these services? The starting price for these offerings begins at CN¥559,800, or approximately $77,400.
