Apart from the ubiquitous Toyota brand and design elements, nothing else about this vehicle is particular to a Camry. This one sports a Pro Mod chassis built specifically for tearing up the drag strip. Jose Gonzales — who holds the esteemed title of Quickest Door Car with an impressive 5.359-second time at 272.94 mph in his Pro Mod Camaro — is the proud owner of this Camry, whose goal is to break 5.40 seconds.

Mentioned before, the vehicle is propelled by the renowned Toyota 2JZ engine, commonly found in vehicles such as the Supra Mk4. Well-known for its dependable cast iron block, this engine can easily reach an impressive one thousand horsepower.

Yet, for this exact Camry drag racer, it is outfitted with a 2JZ combined with 12 720lb/h FT injectors. Moreover, it comes with a billet block and cylinders head that have gone through noteworthy modifications though still having the stock Toyota cast.
